The true nature of love is explored in the drama Gone With The Light. Written and directed by Dong Runnian (Mr. Six, Cities in Love), this inspirational tale portrays touching stories of ordinary people as they navigate the complexities of marriage and relationships.  The film boasts an outstanding cast including China box office draw Huang Bo (Journey to the West, The Island), Tan Zhuo (Dying to Survive, Mr. Tree), Wang Luodan (Lethal Hostage, The Dead End) and Locarno winner Huang Lu (Blind Mountain, She, a Chinese) who is set to star opposite Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington in the Hulu drama series Little Fires Everywhere.


A mysterious light has appeared in numerous countries around the world with countless people – rumoured to be those in love – disappearing afterwards. Like many of those trying to unravel the mystery behind the light, married couple Wu Wenxue (Huang Bo) and Zhang Yan (Tan) begin to question their marriage.  At the same time two women, Li Nan (Wang) and He Xiaofen (Huang Lu), share a lover who has gone missing and embark on a journey to dig into their partner’s past.
