This beautifully lensed actioner is the sequel to 2014’s box office hit The Divine Move about high-stakes gambling in Korea. It is directed by producer and writer Khan Lee (Dream Flight, Tonight Nobody Goes Home) and stars Kwon Sang-woo (My Tutor Friend, The Accidental Detective) and Kim Sung-kyun (Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time, The Witness).


In the 1990s as fever for the strategic board game Go sweeps Korea, Gui-su (Kwon) ends up on the street after his father’s gambling causes the family to lose everything. All alone in the world, Gui-su meets a mentor and Go teacher Il-do (Kim) and undergoes tough and intensive training in order to become a Go grandmaster. He faces off against grandmasters from all over the country while setting out for revenge on the world that destroyed his life. However, Gui-su soon finds himself chased by an unknown loner…
